Large ladle, first collaboration by Angelo and Veronica. Angelo roughed out the piece, through shaping and drying, and Veronica finished the piece through carving face and painting.
Artist Statement:
This piece references the young eagles that the artists have witnessed flying in the north. Some young eagles appear red in the sunlight, as their moulting brown feathers eventually turn to black and white.
